One night in Amsterdam, and canals I could have walked forever.

We gave the Netherlands just one night in July, a quick stop in Amsterdam between Prague and Belgium. It wasn’t long, and it didn’t start the way we planned, but it was worth every hour, and I’d go back to see more and explore beyond the city.

Amsterdam

A missed flight left me on my own for the first half of the day, which is how I found my favorite bag. Then came the Red Light District by day and again late at night, and hours of wandering canals that only got quieter and prettier the farther we went.
