The Master
Packing List

The list I open every time I travel, wherever I’m headed.

Every trip starts the same way: suitcase open on the bed, this list open on my phone. I use it for a long weekend, and I used it for two weeks in Japan. It follows the order I actually pack in. The suitcase comes first, outfit by outfit. The personal item comes last, with everything that never leaves my seat: the flight essentials, my electronics and camera, and the little pouch that follows me all trip. Tap each item as it goes in. By the last circle, nothing you need is still sitting at home.

Each trip keeps its own list, checks, and notes, saved on this device.
Part One

The Suitcase

Everything that rolls behind me or gets checked, in the suitcase I travel with.

I.The Wardrobe

Dressed for every day of it.

I plan each outfit before anything goes into the case, one per day, then pack the rest around them. Jot down what each one is as you go.

II.The Shoes

Chosen last, so every pair has a job.

Once the outfits are set, the shoes are easy. My walking sneakers come on nearly every trip. The rest depends on the plans.

III.Personal Care

Everything for the bathroom counter.

Makeup travels in its own clear bag, and the rest of my essentials share one toiletry bag. Everything stays grouped, and nothing goes missing in the bottom of the case.

Part Two

The Personal Item

What never leaves my seat, even when the carry-on gets checked.

IV.For the Journey

Packed for the hours in between.

Everything for the flight goes into one clear bag inside my personal item: something to sleep on, something to snack on, and enough to freshen up before landing. It keeps the hours in the air organized.

V.Tech & Camera

Every device, and what keeps it charged.

Electronics and my camera never go in the suitcase. They stay with me at my seat, each one paired with its charger.

VI.The Little Pouch

Small things, always within reach.

One clear pouch rides in my personal item on the plane, then moves to whichever purse I’m carrying once I land. I move one pouch instead of a handful of loose essentials.

VII.Out the Door

One last look before you lock up.

The few things no trip can start without.

Take the list
to your Claude.

If you use Claude, this prompt turns the Master Packing List into your own private copy, styled like this page. Reuse it for every trip, change it as you go, and ask it what you’re missing for where you’re headed and the time of year.

  1. Copy the prompt.
  2. Open the Claude app and start a new chat.
  3. Paste it, send, and tell Claude where you’re going.

Your list lives in your own Claude account, and Mile & Marque never sees it. What Claude builds can vary with your plan and settings.
